IFGE movie short list

The following is a relatively short list of films considered especially notable and rated by the IFGE office staff. Some films are included because they were popular with the general public and appropriate for young audiences, e.g. Some Like It Hot and Mrs. Doubtfire. Some tell personal stories, e.g. Just Like A Woman and The Crying Game, while others are near-documentaries of aspects of the gender community, e.g. Paris Is Burning and Stonewall. Some seem like they are primarily for fun, e.g. Wigstock, while other entertaining films also have a clear message, e.g The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.
